In the past when playing Minecraft on my lap top I would play in windowed mode and whatever size I made my Minecraft window, the game size would change to show me the full game view within that window.

I am finding now that in the exact size i've always set my window size in windowed mode it is cutting off both sides of the screen where as before i would see my hand with the tool it in, now i see just a very small part of the tool that is closest to my body.

If i widen the window then I am able to see more of my hand and the tool in it.

This change has absolutely ruined the way I play, I cannot feel comfortable not seeing the full screen in my windowed mode in the way I like to play.

I've asked in the #minecrafthelp and it was suggested I open a ticket about this.

For me this is an absolute game-breaker. I want to see the full screen in windowed mode and being unable to will essentially make me not play minecraft anymore from this laptop.

Prior to 1.8 I've never had this problem so I have to assume it's changed with the patch. I've attached a file of the way i like to set up the screen on my laptop. What you see is the complete missing left and right sides of the screen basically narrowing my vision down to an extreme degree. All I want is to be able to see the full screen in windowed mode.
