So I was looking forward to seeing how the beacons looked on my end and checked out the stained glass effect on beacons when I noticed if I looked up so far then the beams would just disappear even though I was pretty much right next to them, now I'm not sure if that's meant to happen but I would've thought it wasn't meant to do that.

In the snapshot I've taken, look at my pitch, you'll see that it's around 35 when the beams stop, I'm only 10 blocks away from the beacons, when I'm closer then the pitch number gets smaller in which I can see the beams.
