When creating a new world in version 1.8, the game stalls or completely stops. Trying to exit the game using the "x" in the top right corner of the screen in windowed mode will not shut down the game. While in windowed mode, right-clicking on the MineCraft task bar button and left-clicking on "Close window" will not close the game either. The game stays stuck at world creation screen at the status that states "Loading world. ... Building terrain". Only by going into the Windows Task Manager, and clicking on "End Task" under the "Applications" tab, will the game shut down.

Also, Issue MC-70436 has worsened. The lag/choppiness is extremely unbearable to the point where the game is virtually unplayable.
