I really did try to figure out how to submit this as a MCPE problem, but no matter what I tried the only versions on MineCraft that I can select when creating an issue relate to the PC version. Maybe I need to submit a ticket on the ticket submitting system

In MCPE 0.9.5 cocoa pods do not grow. The will grow with bone meal, but they do not grow on their own. I've tried planting cocoa seeds on jungle wood blocks and jungle wood trees and the results are the same: I can see the first stage of the cocoa pod, but they do not grow no matter how much time passes. According to the feedback that I've received at the Reddit MCPE subreddit I am not the only one experiencing this problem.
