When I hit any animal/living entity, all blocks turn completely black and water turns gray.

      I expected that when I hit an animal, my world wouldn't turn black.

      When I hit the animal, my world turned black.

      Steps to Reproduce:
      1. Be on a server
      2. Hit a sheep with a stone sword
