1. Use /give spawn_egg to get a spawn egg that will not spawn anything.
2. Use /give mob_spawner to get a mob spawner.
3. Place the mob spawner.
4. Right-click on the mob spawner with the empty spawn egg.
5. Observe the crash report (attached).
