When I tried to increase the render distance, there was a glitch in the graphics - small parts repeated each other all across the screen

What I expected to happen was...:
I expected that the render distance would be changed to 10 chunks

What actually happened was...:
Graphics glitched and filled the screen with one little bit shown over and over mosaic-like, or more like something viewed through compound eyes?

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open menu, go to video settings
2. change render distance upwards
3. go back to the game and marvel at awesomely confusing mosaic (sorry ^^)
