Some menu screens are not shown on Retina Mac in full screen

      When starting MC on my MacBook Pro 13" with retina screen resolution 1280x800@2x in full screen, the main menu is shown as normal. However, none of the submenus are shown (see attached pics).
      Both windowed mode and full screen while using a screen resolution of 1280x800 (without retina) work as expected.
