Even if you change it back to a pre-1.8 view distance that is more or less than 14 its still visible, disappears witha very short view distance like 4, but reappears when you go back to 14 or a high view distance.

Using Save & Quit to title makes minecraft not respond.

Worst bug ive ever seen, saw it before near the first snapshots that included the new view distance but thought it was fixed.

I have left my options menu too.
