I had an armor stand with a gold chest plate. I went wandering and when I came back I couldn't see it. It seemed to be there, When I tried to place another armor stand in the same place the new stand disappeard from my hand. When I attacked, the armor stand was show in my hand again.

After logging out and then back in the armor stand was visible.
