I know that there are a few reports for this already, which have been resolved as WAI.
But i want to tell you something.
I have created a world in 1.8 and it was like blob:https%3A//bugs.mojang.com/39cafc95-ad04-4d37-959a-08645a72631c (Screenshot 2)
Then i gone in the same world in 1.7.10.
And it was like that: blob:https%3A//bugs.mojang.com/a6888b90-0edb-4ed7-b0bf-c2a0f449e44b (Screenshot 1)
And EVERY flower looks nearly like that in 1.7.10.
And in 1.8, it is totally random

This is not a duplicate of MC-3073, because this affects version 1.4.4 and means something different.
