Steps to reproduce
- Open up the F3 debug screen
- Look at a block that has a data value (for example: stone variants, dirt variants, different colours of wool, glass, clay... or various rotations of chests, signs, etc...)
- Look at the right hand side of your F3 debug screen, after the ID
No data value. I can assure you there was one before (many snapshots ago) but then the hideous square brackets '[ ]' came after the ID and the data value was removed. Later they removed the horrible '[ ]' but the data value has not come back.
This is a real problem because i benefited greatly from being able to know the data value of a specific state of a block when using /setblock or /give.
