So I was going to try to use a resource pack in the new snapshot (Faithful 32x32 by Vattic on the minecraft forums) and tried to include some of the features mcpatcher offers like better grass and connecting textures. Of course none of those features were available for the latest snapshot, but I patched it anyway. Then I launched the game and opened up a save file I previously created, can't remember which version, but it was certainly one of the more recent snapshots. When the world loaded in, an unexplainable visual artifact appeared in front of me. I did record a video, and I think it does a better job than me explaining what was going on. I earlier experienced some flickering mosaic-like graphical bug when I increased the render distance, but I think that has been reported before and is well known so I will not create a report for that.
