What I expected to happen was...:
To see hostile mobs when playing a local wifi survival multiplayer game with difficulty turned ON, regardless of whether the client has difficulty on or off.
What actually happened was...:
Hostile mobs are visible on the server but not visible on the client. The invisible mobs still attack the player on the client.. The player on the client doesn't survive this for long.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start a multiplayer survival world on one device (the server)
2. Connect to this world from another device (the client), ensuring difficulty is OFF.
3. On the server, switch difficulty ON.
4. Wait for nightfall.
5. Hostile mobs can be seen on the server but not on the client.
6. Switch difficulty ON on the client
7. Hostile mobs are now visible on the client.
