Rabbits that are tethered to fenceposts with a lead still teleport to the player in some situations. It seems that when I stay within a certain distance, they stay tethered, but if I move far enough away for the chunk to unload, they'll teleport when it's loaded again. I haven't tested this on single player.
Situation:
I have rabbits tethered to a fencepost in front of our home base in multiplayer.
I leave the area and go far, far away.
No players are in the area containing my rabbits.
Someone else enters the area containing my rabbits.
My rabbits teleport to me, wherever I may be.
The leads are left as items on the ground near the fencepost.
Try that to reproduce the issue.
This does not always happen with all of my rabbits. Sometimes only a couple of them teleport and others will stay tethered.
