After replaying an Alpha version of Minecraft (Alpha 1.1.2_01) I thought it would be amazing if I could convert this world to 1.7.10 and that the chunks that haven't been created would be filled with the new biomes from the new versions.

So when I saw you couldn't convert a Alpha world directly to Release 1.7.10 (As the world didn't show up in Release 1.7.10), I tried to convert it firstly to Beta 1.7.3 format. After I did that and went back to Release 1.7.10, the world showed up and I could convert it from Beta 1.7.3 to Release 1.7.10. So, after the conversion I played the world and I immediately noticed something very strange; The trees were made out of different leaf blocks. And the grass, it looked like multiple biomes were running trough the world. And then I visited the beaches, and saw that the transition between the loaded chunks and the new created ones was really strange. It didn't connect very smoothly. In the attachments there are pictures of these strange situations.

      How to reproduce:
Create a world in Alpha 1.1.2 and let the game generate a couple on chunks. Then, convert that world from Alpha 1.1.2_01 to Beta 1.7.3, and then convert that world from Beta 1.7.3 to Release 1.7.10. You'll notice the problem with the world immediately.

Please fix this problem, I really want to play with my old worlds in the newer versions.
