When you are in survival, putting a banner in the bottom left of your crafting gui and dye in the other three, it will result in a left diagonal. When the banner is in the bottom right, you get a top stripe design. When the banner is in the top right, you get a small stripes design. In the top left, it results in nothing. I don't know if I'm missing something, but this makes no sense to me.
