levers break when active on top of hoppers

What I expected to happen was...:
that the lever would activate

What actually happened was...:
the lever broke when i activate her

Steps to Reproduce:
1. ... you place a hopper
2. ... you place a lever on top of the hopper
3. ... you right-click the lever
