Blocks dont render texture glitch

Placing blocks all ove this area, as seen in the screenshot at some point they dont render, but they are there.

EDIT: Toggling the "Alternate Blocks" option on/off rerenders the blocks well.
The confusion is that, the chunk seems to been rendered well, as the river and desert shows normally, but the air blocks are bugged.
