Can't tell direction in spectating

Replicate the bug by:
1. Get into spectator mode
2.Go inside an animal/mob/npc
3. press f3
It will only say you are facing the direction the mob was facing when you first got into it.
It's only a minor bug so sorry if I wasted any time
