      Blocks vanished while mining

      What I expected to happen was...:
      I expected to dig a mine

      What actually happened was...:
      I can't see stone, ores or anything except lava. It makes it impossible to continue mining. This has happened twice to me.

      Steps to Reproduce:
      1. Dig a hole
      2. Find black empty void
