What I expected to happen was...:
Launch a block of sand with a sand cannon

What actually happened was...:
The game crashed and when I reopened minecraft I saw the block falling although glitchy and had no texture. I also found that sand blocks that fall are still a little glitchy. Although I found that if I'm far enough away and not looking at the cannon my game won't crash but I cannot seem to find the block of sand I launched either from a bug or just not being able to find it.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. make a sand cannon
2. fire it
3. look at it while it gets fired.
