I was trying to create a cage for the bunnies but then when I put down a fence gate, the fence gate appeared open when I placed it. I was able to completely pass through it. I tries multiple times in both creative and survival and it had the same results

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a world in creative mode
2. Enter the creative inventory and grade a fence gate
3. Place a fence gate and see it open already!
