In the nether every other X chunk is missing, though the bedrock is still there.

    • I was in the nether, running no mods and in the latest snapshot (14w26b), all I did was generate a new world in creative mode, made a nether portal and jumped in. Nothing else.

      Windows 8, java 7.?, Snapshot 14w26b, I jumped into the nether in creative mode and only some chunks generated.
