EDIT 2: Ok, completely fixed now, ignore my stupidity (and MCEdit's as well)
EDIT: So this seems to be a glitch with MCEdit, not Minecraft itself. Trying to work out how to fix it now.
So, as I'm plugging along on my CTM map, and I decide to put in a custom spawner. I throw colored (green, black, and white) leather armor and a Punch I bow onto a skeleton, and run MCEdit's Create Spawner filter. In MCEdit, the spawners look normal, but in-game... Well, it looks like the no texture appearance, and the game MASSIVELY lag spikes (music too) whenever skeletons are spawned. The skeletons themselves look fine, and seem to act normal. I used the new F3 to hover over the spawners and saw some wierd things.
(Another Note: The skeletons could also spawn inside the walls and suffocate to death. Spawners don't usually do that)
