Using Shears on double fern results in pink and black box in inventory. When placing said box on dirt, you get dead grass (i.e. desert)

      I used shears on double fern. I expected to get fern. Got black and pink box that said it was grass (see screenshot 1). For the hell of it, I placed said box on a block of dirt. Got dead (desert) grass. Kind of fun, but then again....I still want the fern
