I was playing 14w25b hardcore and i was standing in the water attacking an enderman, and it died right on the edge of the water and left the entity shown in the video/screenshot behind. Prevents block placement and does not persist after saving and re-opening the world. The enderman did not take any damage from the water. It dropped experience but not an enderpearl or the dirt block it was carrying.
