When any custom resource pack that has changes to the icons.png file in it is applied, the crosshair in that resource pack, even if it's the same as the default, is shown atop the default one along with extra texture on the left and right sides (see photos).
What I expected to happen was...:
When applying a resource pack with custom crosshairs, those crosshairs replace the default.
What actually happened was...:
The custom crosshair displays atop the default along with extra along the left and right edges.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Apply a custom resource pack that changes the crosshair.
2. Observe glitchy crosshair.
