When leaving the game while being on a horse (no matter what kind of armor whatever), the horse will not be there after loading the world again. This happened to me on a fully equipped donkey with name tag and 2/3 filled chest but also on a regular horse without name tag but with armor installed (no name tag used on that horse before).
