I started noticing this glitch since 14w20b or maybe even before. Recently I encountered it in 14w25b, so I made a screenshot. Sometimes when you look at chests from a certain angle, they are displayed without the lids and you can see them through one another, just like on the pictures below. It happens randomly and disappears randomly too. I did not find a way to reproduce this glitch on purpose.

If it helps, the POV angle is 80, which, as I noticed, sometimes affects such things as item frames not displaying at the edges of the screen (perhaps because for the default POV angle they are considered offscreen and thus are not rendered), or fishing line starting in mid air instead of the fishing rod's end etc.
