      UPDATE:
      Advanced OpenGL has been on with these transparent blocks and turning Advanced OpenGL on and off brings the blocks nearby back but I find new transparent blocks if I travel. Turning Advanced OpenGL off completely eliminates the transparent blocks and increases performance overall.

      Transparent blocks in areas accompanied by a slowed frame rate when facing that general vicinity.
