Ok so... I was trying to make a texture pack that recolored the trees and leaves in game.
Well, I got all of the leaves that appear on trees to change color (even birch and spruce leaves through the use of mcPatcher).

Here is where I ran into an issue though:
The blocks held in the characters hand aren't changing color.
Well, 3 of them aren't.
Oak, Birch, and Spruce leaf blocks all changed colors, but jungle, Acacia, and Dark Oak leaves do not.
i have the foliage.png colored completely white so the leaf colors should be changed based on the colors i made their individual png files. But they aren't. I made a post about it in the "texture pack discussion" on minecraftforum and it was suggested that I report what was happening as a bug.
I have screen shots to show what is going on.
As you can see, all 6 leaves are on the hotbar along the bottom. Oak, Birch, and Spruce are all changed correctly while Jungle, Acacia, and Dark Oak are not.
