I opened a singleplayer Minecraft to LAN for my room mates and I can see their skin, I can see my skin just fine but they can only see my skin as Steve. They also see eachother's custom skins just fine.

What I expected to happen was...:
Other players to see my custom skin.

What actually happened was...:
Instead they see me as Steve.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open Minecraft on 1.7.9
2. open a Single Player map
3. esc to menu, Open to LAN with cheats on, on Survival.
4. additional player logs in.

Additional steps to fix:
1. closed out of Minecraft and re opened LAN server,
2. Attempted joining public server, Skin shows just fine and other players can see it.
3. updated JAVA
4. other players have updated to most recent java build.
