When the dropper T flip-flop setup is created as shown in the screenshot, it behaves differently for 2 identical setups.

      1. For both setups 1 item is placed in the bottom left dropper.
      2. The bottom left dropper faces into the bottom right dropper.
      3. The bottom right dropper is facing upwards into the hopper.
      4. The hopper is facing into the top left dropper.
      5. The top left dropper is facing into the bottom left dropper.
      6. The comparator is facing out of the top left dropper.

      From that state:
      1. The first time the pressure pad is stepped on and released for both of them, the item gets moved from the bottom left to the bottom right dropper.
      2. The pressure pad is stepped on and released again. For both setups, the item is moved to the top left dropper and the comparator lights up.
      3. Now the pressure pad is stepped on and released again for both.
3a. On the left setup, the item is moved into the bottom right dropper.
3b. On the right setup, the item is moved into the bottom left dropper.
      4. The pressure pad is stepped on and released once more for both.
4a. On the left setup, the item is moved into the top left dropper, the comparator is lit up.
4b. On the right setup, the item is only moved into the bottom right dropper.
      5. To get the right setup to the same state as the left, one more pressure pad push and release has to be made.

From then on the cycle of step 2 to 5 repeats.

I'm baffled as to why this happens since at some places it works identical to one another but not at others.
