I have a lag when trying to use the left-click action button. This is especially trying when attacking skeletons as they get out several hits while I try to initiate one hit against this lag.
This is a personal gameplay issue, no servers, pvp, what have you, involved.

If I stay in one place for a bit, the game will perform the action on-point. If I start moving while hitting, no action. So if I'm trying to move and hit a skeleton, I'll have to wait about 3-5 seconds before any hits go out, that's if I am still in range of the mob.

It started after I got the update. I tried downgrading to an earlier addition, that didn't fix it.

I tried running it in Windows 7 mode (because it works pristinely on my friends Windows 7 laptop), but that didn't fix it.

I tried uninstalling everything related to minecraft and reinstalling everything, that didn't fix it.

I tried reinstalling Java, that didn't fix it.

It is not an OS thing cause my girlfriend incurred a similar issue when she updated her Minecraft.
I have a hunch it's something with the update, but I have no leads besides the fact everything else I tried didn't work.
My computer is brand new, so there's barely any new added programs, messing with system files, etc.

Anything help on this would be greatly appreciated. I have had this issue since 1.7.4 with my Windows 8 laptop. The game however, still works fine on my friend's Windows 7 laptop. This has been an ongoing issue for me for some months now, and I have reported this bug before.
