Mob behaviour
The Bug:
Withers' shoulder heads retain their facing directions when their target entity flees.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Ensure that no entities other than yourself are present nearby.
- Give yourself resistance so that the wither doesn't kill you by using the command provided below.
/effect give @p minecraft:resistance 1000 10 true
- Switch into survival mode and summon a wither.
- Once the wither starts attacking you, teleport two hundred blocks upward by using the command provided below.
/tp @s ~ ~200 ~
- While falling down through the air, switch into creative mode.
- Locate the wither that was just previously attacking you and observe the facing direction of its shoulder heads.
- Take note as to whether or not withers' shoulder heads retain their facing directions when their target entity flees.
Observed Behavior:
Withers' shoulder heads retain their facing directions.
Expected Behavior:
Withers' shoulder heads would not retain their facing directions.
