Cannot connect to any non-LAN server- io.netty.channel.ConnectTimeoutException:connection timed out:

      This happens for my Apple laptop and also my Lenovo. When ever I try to connect to a public server that I know is up i get "io.netty.channel.ConnectTimeoutException:connection timed out:"
