Arrows Not Despawning

      On a vanilla minecraft 1.7.4 server I have a skeleton farm. A skeleton somehow saw me and shot, triggering a flow of over 1500 arrows that no will not despawn. They are in a glass block and have been there for weeks lagging the server. Is there a fix?
