I've known this along time, and i dont think it actually is a bug, but it would be useful to fix! When the eyes of your character is at the surface of water/lava, it will look wierd. The pictures i got here, well, the first is "above" the water, the second is "underwater". You dont need to move to make it above/underwater, just looking around. Its a very wierd look, and it should be fixed.
My operating system is OS X Mavericks 10.9.2

1. Get your eyes to the surface of the water.
2. Look around, and it looks even wierder.
