When I enter my friends server (non-hamachi) I can stay on from anywhere between 5 seconds to 2 minutes at a time, typically under 30 seconds each time except for a special occasion. When I finally disconnect I get a "Connection Lost" for a title, and then under that it says, "Internal Exception: java.io.IOException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host"

What I tried? Updating java (pre factory reset)
      re-downloaded Minecraft (pre factory reset)
      Factory reset
      Downloaded minecraft
Went into System 32>Etc>Hosts and looked for "minecraft" to remove if it was there.
None of the above worked and I would really like to know how to fix this issue.

      This is for v1.7.2 v1.7.3 v1.7.4 v1.7.5
