Minecraft client chat/command entry, at standard and other sizes is positioned too low such that recent chat is hidden behind the Leave Bed button and HUD, where it is difficult or impossible to read.

Chat window at default resolution and others can be positioned higher on the screen, as the top line that can be displayed is several rows below the top of the window, making this a window position error. Avoiding chat, message, or command output being superimposed on HUD or GUI buttons (In the case of Leave Bed) should have been an initial design feature.

This condition has persisted for many revisions, and continues to persist in development versions.
