Whenever I die minecraft will crash!

I excepcted when I died I would go to the menu that says quit or respawn. But what actually happened is minecraft froze, then it crashed and put a error screen up.

To trigger this bug you need to be operating a Mac OSX.
You also need to have the mods: Rei's minimap, TooManyItems, and Optifine.
First you set your gamemode to survival, then you simply die and minecraft crashes (works on servers too).
Then minecraft will freeze for about 10 seconds when an error screen pops up saying minecraft crashed!
