My sister and I often like to play on a LAN server for PvP or survival, and started this in Version 1.7.4. When loading these worlds in the snapshot and opening it to LAN, the connection drops severely, by proof of the fact that damage is taken/given 2-3 seconds later and bows shoot 2-3 seconds later for both me and my sister. It is frustrating because it's almost unplayable, especially for PvP. However any worlds created in the snapshot work perfectly fine with no connection delay whatsoever.
This is with every single 1.8 snapshot.
Summary:
LANing 1.7.4 worlds in the snapshots severely decreases connection.
LANing snapshot worlds is perfectly fine.
