Sometimes when you break a block, the dropped item is thrown several blocks away and often through other blocks such as through walls.

What I expected to happen was...:
Normally the item drops on the block below or on an adjacent block without going through other blocks.

What actually happened was...:
The item is sometimes flung 5-10 blocks away and sometimes found on the other side of a solid wall, such as going from the inside of a cave to the surface.

Steps to Reproduce:
Simply break any block by any method, but you might have to do it several times before something happens. It has happened to me more often while mining and chopping trees.
