So, I've been using 512x textures for months. I recently started playing minecraft again, and it doesn't work anymore. I will be able to set the resource pack in game occasionally, but if I close it and then try to reboot the game it will just crash out of memory while in the "Mojang" screen. My system has 16GB of RAM, 8 of which are allocated to Java. My resource monitor reports 10GB free memory. I cannot find any logical reason for this happening, please help me. Thanks in advance.
