When mining in caves or on the surface, mining drops such as coal, iron ore, gold ore, and cobblestone sometimes fall far away from where they are mined. Often they fall across the room or cave, but they also fall outside the room or cave, through solid walls. For example, when breaking stone inside the bottom room of a jungle temple, some of the cobblestone chunks ended up outside even though the outer walls were intact. Also, when mining coal, sometimes the coal shoots out of the frame and is found again in another branch of the cave a few minutes later.
