I just read about block regen when switching items was NOT a bug. BUT, I found a bug within that fix that annoys me alot.
Whenever you collect the same item you have in your inventory and you increase the count of the item you have (eg. you have one wood selected on your hotbar, and you have 2), and that will trigger the block to restart from 0% even though you did not switch items.
