Please, this is still an issue. No, it isn't resolved. Pick Block will NOT work on Redstone Ore if it is lit.

What I expected - when I middle-clicked Redstone Ore, I would get get Redstone Ore whether it's lit or not.

What happened - middle-clicking lit Redstone Ore gave me nothing - not even unlit Redstone Ore.

This doesn't happen to Redstone Lamps - when you middle-click them, whether they're lit or not, you still get a Redstone Lamp (unlit)

I put this ticket in yesterday and it was closed under "works as intended".
What Dinnerbone was saying is that you can't obtain activated blocks, where as I was trying to obtain an inactive block by middle-clicking an active block.

The ticket I put in yesterday was closed for the wrong reason. I highly doubt it's working as intended.
