When breaking blocks such as logs and cobblestone with entity hitboxes (F3+B) toggled on, the breaking texture sometimes appears a bright red (similar to that of a redstone block being broken.) This is normally fixed by restarting Minecraft but returns shortly thereafter.

The issue also appears to only affect only either singleplayer or multiplayer at one time; switching to a singleplayer world from a multiplayer server with the bug fixes the texture.
