A redstone torch with a data value of 7 behaves weirdly when forced to be placed using /setblock and other such methods. It powers the block below it as well as the ones on the side and the top, although it appears to be a "stood-up" redstone torch, except with the torch head having the "missing texture" texture on it.

When placed, it randomly causes the blocks around it to become the "missing texture" texture (it appears to especially target redstone torch textures, changing them on repeaters and such), and may or may not change where the missing textures are displayed when they are updated on certain blocks. all effects cease when the torch is removed.

See attached files for examples of the bug.

      To recreate:

      • Execute the command: /setblock ~ ~ ~ minecraft:redstone_torch 7
      • If missing textures appear on surrounding blocks (not guaranteed), try placing and removing blocks on top of them, trying different spots, especially corners (the missing textures appear in squares).
